A collection of books from the personal library of Tursynbek Kakishevich Kakishev (1927-2015) - Honored Scientist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorary Academician of the International Academy of Sciences of Higher Education, Academician of the International Public Academy C. Aitmatov, laureate of the S. Seifullin Prize, Doctor of Philology, Professor was transferred to the collection of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2016 by his relatives (4079 copies). A special place in the personal collection is taken by rare publications in Arabic and Kazakh languages published in the Latin alphabet, books on the humanities and natural sciences, books and archival materials about the life and work of prominent Kazakh writers Saken Seifullin and Sabit Mukanov, fiction, as well as manuscripts and others materials (77 folders).
