The personal collection of Shomishbai Nagashbaevich Sariev - songwriter, translator, candidate of philological sciences, member of the Union of Writers of the USSR and Kazakhstan, Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan, laureate of the “Platinum Tarlan” award, the National Award “Person of the Year - Altyn Adam” was donated to the library in 2021 by the poet's relatives. The collection includes 518 copies of documents. The collection is a set of documents on the professional interests and preferences of the owner. The collection consists of his works from different years, literature on literary studies, history, philosophy, encyclopedic publications, dictionaries, etc.
