The New Draft of the Constitution Was Discussed

At the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the new draft of the Constitution was discussed with the participation of representatives of the cultural community. The meeting became an important platform for public dialogue, covering the key provisions of the updated Law.

The event was attended by Vice Minister of Culture and Information Aibek Sydykov, as well as heads and specialists from the fields of culture, archives, arts, and education, including librarians. During the meeting, constitutional changes aimed at protecting citizens’ rights and freedoms, preserving historical and cultural heritage, and strengthening the spiritual values of society were widely discussed.

The meeting also emphasized the special role of libraries and the cultural and humanitarian sector in shaping public consciousness, increasing civic responsibility, and strengthening national identity.
