The journal reports on events from and outstanding personalities of the Eurasian region (past and present) and the successful projects of international co-operation in Eurasia. It promotes the cultures, politics, events and communities of both regions and encourages a discussion and exchange of ideas between them to develop both business co-operation, tourist activity and cultural relations.

Specializes in social and political sciences; covers geopolitical, economic, social and cultural aspects of Central Asia, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan; examines the interactions between the region and important neighboring regions and powers such as Afghanistan, the Caucasus, China and Russia.

A comprehensive scientific journal in the field of behavioral sciences pays special attention to psychiatric and neurological disorders; studies on normal human behavior are also considered. Animal studies and technical notes should have clear relevance and applicability to human disease.

It publishes reviews and original fundamental and applied works in the field of medical, agricultural and ecological biotechnology. A working language of the journal is English, Russian, Kazakh. The publication is intended to both scientific and technical professionals as well as wide range of intellectual readers that are eager to be aware of the recent achievements of biotechnology in Kazakhstan and countries of the near abroad. The journal is included in the List of publications recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science for release of research articles.
