A late night raga, Raga Jaijaiwanti is an important though somewhat complex raga. It uses both Komal and Shuddh form of the Ga and Ni, which is its chief distinguishing and appealing feature. There are two strains of the raga, one related to Raga Desh and one related to Raga Bageshwari, the latter being more uncommon. It is the strain related to Raga Desh that is being sung by Mishra Brothers
