Ten years ago, UNESCO and L OREAL embarked upon a journey to change the face of science. The landmark "Women in Science" partnership has been a resounding success. Indeed, thanks in part to the partnership, the world is increasingly recognizing the role and significance of women in science. Of course, much work remains for women to be equally represented in science. Women still only make up one fourth of researchers and very few are in decision-making levels or determine research agendas.
