The subject of PHOCOS 2016 is 'Campus Life at University along the Silk Road. From University of Coimbra, Portugal, to Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Japan, a total of 53 students f from 46 universities submitted 163 pieces of work from 23 cities in 9 countries. In grateful appreciation, 50 pieces, in the end, were selected for exhibition by a panel comprising of people who have dedicated their whole life to photography

The materials of the International Inaugural Conference, which was organized by IRCICA with the aim of launching a program to commemorate the fourteen centuries AD since the revelation of the Holy Quran, are presented. The commemorative events took place during 2010-2011 and were organized by the relevant authorities and institutions of the OIC-IRCICA member states, observer states, as well as Muslim unions and associations around the world
