Aquí se presenta solo la mitad de aquella recopilación de artículos publicados por Elías E. Mundi en los diarios colombianos El Tiempo (de Bobotá) y El Heraldo (de Barranquilla) durante más de veinte años: desde 1976 hasta 1998. En sus advertencias sobre los malos usos del español muy centradas en la lengua de la prensa, el autor critica también lo que él considera fallos del Diccionario de la Real Academia Española y de otros coloegas que escriben sobre los mismos autos.
