It publishes reviews and original fundamental and applied works in the field of medical, agricultural and ecological biotechnology. A working language of the journal is English, Russian, Kazakh. The publication is intended to both scientific and technical professionals as well as wide range of intellectual readers that are eager to be aware of the recent achievements of biotechnology in Kazakhstan and countries of the near abroad. The journal is included in the List of publications recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science for release of research articles. National Center for Biotechnology is a member of Publishers International Linking Association (PILA).
