The course «Economic theory» gives students an idea of the economy as a system, the basic concepts, categories, laws and regularities of economic development. Economic knowledge allows to predict the development of objective, dynamical economic processes and to estimate a place of national economy in the world economy. Over the years of independence the cardinal transformations to economic, political and social spheres are carried out in Kazakhstan. Practice testifies that without a profound knowledge of bases of economy, it is impossible to meaningly, competently and creatively perceive the economic validity, to understand a public life, effectively solve problems of economic practice
