Fairytale Hour “Unity of the Five Fingers”
At the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as part of the “Grandmother’s Tales” project, a study session dedicated to the fairytale “Unity of the Five Fingers” was held. The event was conducted by Kulyash Kailanovna Moldakhmetova, a veteran announcer of “Kazakh Radio.”
The author of the fairytale is the writer and laureate of the International “Alash” Literary Award, Token Alzhantegi.
This work is included in the writer’s collection “Bazarlyk,” which features instructive stories and fairytales for children.
The purpose of the event was to foster moral values among the younger generation, instill kindness, unity, and peacefulness. The fairytale promotes values such as solidarity, mutual assistance, and virtue through the example of the unity of the five fingers. After studying the fairytale, the children shared their thoughts, noting that the power of unity and goodness always triumphs.
Schoolchildren, teachers, and parents took part in the event.
