From sports to exports is not a question of alliteration alone. As the title of this book suggests there is a discernible commonality between these two activities, that is to say excellence. Somehow a realisation had dawned that despite Pakistan`s definitive and authoritative presence in the world of sports, there did not exist an informative account of pakistan's sporting achievements in one volume. One can't deny the existence of a good number of books on individual sports and sportsmen, but a book encompassing major sports in which Pakistan has figured and excelled internationally was conspicuous by its absence.
