The book principally describes the journey in a series of meditations that help to enhance a state of awareness where we no longer perceive a subjective 'I' looking at an objective 'other', but are aware that this 'I' and the 'other' are actually appearing from the one same mind. Using the rainbow allegory and paralleling it with our spread of different states of consciousness, the book is divided into seven sections, each one taking the reader step by step across a bridge to gap the divide between a state of duality and that of unity.
