Annotation
Vor dem Hintergrund der Forderung, dass sich Angehörige des Wissenschafts- und Hochschulbetriebs wieder mehr in den gesellschaftlichen und politischen Diskurs einmischen sollen, wurde 1945 die Göttinger Universitätszeitung "GUZ" von Studenten und Hochschullehrenden gegründet. Im Herbst 1949 wurde aus der "GUZ" die Deutsche Universitätszeitung "duz". 1950 zog die duz wurde zunehmend zu einer Zeitschrift speziell für Wissenschaftler. Aus der Deutschen Universitätszeitung wird das DUZ – Magazin für Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft. Regelmäßige Schwerpunkte des DUZ Magazins bilden die Themen Politik und Gesellschaft, Forschung und Innovation, Studium und Lehre sowie Kommunikation und Transparenz.
