《俄罗斯东欧中亚研究》是中国社会科学院主管、俄罗斯东欧中亚研究所主办的专业核心期刊，是中文社会科学引文索引（CSSCI）来源期刊、中国人文社会科学核心期刊、全国中文和社会科学核心期刊、RSSCE中国核心学术期刊，属于政治学和国际关系领域极具地区特点的重要学术平台。现有专职编辑人员5名，全部拥有博士学位和中高级专业技术职称

Публикует оригинальные научные статьи по всем областям древней истории, классической и древневосточной филологии и археологии античной и древневосточных цивилизаций, на русском, английском, французском и немецком языках. В Приложении печатаются комментированные издания и переводы древних источников. Включен в перечень рецензируемых научных изданий, в которых должны быть опубликованы основные научные результаты диссертаций на соискание ученой степени кандидата или доктора наук.
