On May, 28th of this year in the National Academic Library RK within the limits of the Action «One country – one book» has taken place the reader's conference devoted to creativity of the outstanding Kazakh poet M.Zhumabayev. Pupils of 8th class and teachers of international school “Miras” Sartaeva B.K., the teacher of biology; Ryspekova A.T., the teacher of the Kazakh language and the literature have taken part in it.
The purpose of the given action is definition of a role of M.Zhumabayev in education of the Kazakh people, and also development of critical thinking through reading and the letter. It is the new pedagogical approach to revealing at schoolboys of ability to work in group, ability to concentrate, do conclusions, to analyze the read.
During conference pupils have told about a life and M.Zhumabayev's creativity, have expressed the opinion that we should remember great people of Kazakh nation, to know his history of life. Then M.Zhumabayev's verses on love, on the native land have sounded, their subjects have been discussed. In the conclusion children have tried to answer a question “how my life after conference will change?”. It is pleasant to notice that in the small essays they, first of all, have noted desire more to study creativity not only M.Zhumabayev, but also other Kazakhstan poets and writers, to study a state language more deeply and, of course, to read as much as possible books which learn to think.
On behalf of NAB RК for the contribution to reading and book advancement, active participation in the action «One country – one book» letters of thanks have been handed to teachers Sartaeva B.K., Ryspekova A.T., the most active children have received as a gift the collection of verses of M.Zhumabayev “Sen sulu”, also all were given colourful booklets about library.
