On may 21st, 2009, in the national Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan there was the creative reading of the famous improvisator of folk-lore, the National akyn of the Republic of Kazakhstan Konysbai Abil. The action was devoted to the 55 year anniversary of akyn. The famous poets and writers came to congratulate with anniversary. There also was presentation of the book of Konysbai Abil “Ai-ai”akyn aldii”.
His creative way Konysbal Abil begun as the corrector, then as executive secretary of the Dzhangeldinsk regional newspaper “Zhana omir” (“New way”) of Torgai oblast. They noticed the talented literary member not only in oblast, but in the capital. Starting from 1980 he was invited to the Republican newspaper for youth “Leninshil zhas” to be correspondent on Torgai and Celinograd oblasts. His talent and creativeness as satiric who often derided bureaucrats is really opened here.
Then K. Abil was appointed as deputy of editor-in-chief of newspaper of Torgai oblast “Torgai tany”. From 1990 to 1994 worked as the Committee chairman on television and broadcasting of Torgai oblast. Beginning from 1995 he moved to the oblast administration department – before to the Committee of internal policy, and then he was appointed as the head of culture department of Arkalyk.
From 1998 K.Abil moved to Astana and worked as the head of language policy department of the akim of Astana, and then the head of Administration on language development of Astana.
Now he is head of the sector of the Department of editing and translation of Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 1990 K. Abil got the rank of “National akyn of the republic of Kazakhstan” by the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the many years work on amateur and folk arts.
In 2004 by the Edict of the President of RK he was awarded to the order “Parasat”, also to the medals “Astana”, “to the 10th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “10th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
K. Abil “Honorary freeman of Arkalyk city”, member of Writers and Journalists Union of Kazakhstan. The author of many books and 30 songs.
