Today in Astana at the Palace of Peace and Consent there was meeting with poet, writer, expert in literature, state and public figure, diplomat Olzhas Suleimenov, informs correspondent of Kazinform
The theme of meeting – “The dialogue of cultures and religions – the base of unity of society”. During the action there were discussed tasks of preservation of interethnic and interconfessional consent and tolerance as the factor of stability and security of modern society in the condition objective process of globalization.
The quest shared his opinions with participants about dialogue process perspectives in interconfessional sphere, the role the Kazakhstani model of interreligious cooperation in formation of religious scenery of the world.
O.Suleimenov being the constant representative of Kazakhstan in UNESCO since 2002, noticed that this organization should pay attention not only to the books, but to the fiction and art, that is to the all aspects which form the man as personality.
Noting the significance of this meeting O.Suleimenov said that the questions of religions became more actual and undoubtedly, more important. Because, there are strained relations in the world, even between religions. In his time the head of Iran, as fundamental country, offer turn opposition of religions in the format of dialogue of civilizations. But dialogue of civilizations is not only peace interlocution; it is active interaction of cultures.
To say about changes of moral priorities in society for the last years, the writer marked that “the freedom and permissiveness should be limited. It is as the river which bursts its banks and has a risk to flood everything on its way. The state can not shut its eyes on these problems, as we risks with our youth”.
Today the censorship is banned. What of that? For 20 years there is no any great work – only obscene language on pages. Inside of every artist, creator there is should work the interior censor. The years of Soviet Union we had five “no” – to propaganda of national and religious exclusiveness, war, pornography and violence. Today I also agree with this. Exactly propaganda of that exclusiveness brings us to all our troubles, marked Olzhas Omarovich.
According to his opinion the dialogue of civilizations is happened not only on conferences and on international meetings, it goes everyday in the mind of every person – inside of him. “The science should be limited with its moral beginning of religion”, said writer. This theme will be also discussed on the next congress of the world and traditional religions, which will be on July 1-2 in Astana. Among invited quests to the meeting with the famous writer – deputies of the Parlament of RK, representatives of the state organs, the leading Universities of the capital, religious community, and also ethno cultural and research centers.
