Board of Trustees

Board of Trustees of the library was founded on initiative of the public and the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Main aim of the Board is defining strategic development of the library during its formation, creating conditions for effective functioning of the library as the most important link of the information resources system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Basic Tasks of the Board of Trustees

• working out and approval of programs and projects directed on NABRK development;
• mobilization of financial means of legal entities and individuals for infrastructure development;
• rendering assistance in acquiring and forming NAB RK collections including rare and valuable editions;
• facilitating development of international cooperation including conferences, seminars, and meetings holding;
• facilitating adoption of modern library and information technologies.
