The country reads M.O.Auezov

On September, 23rd the press conference devoted to the action «One country – one book» has taken place in National Academic Library.

Kurmangalieva Zhanna Dulatovna – the responsible secretary of the Ministry of culture and information RК; Berdigalieva Roza Amangalievna - the general director of National Academic Library RK; Tarazi Akim Urtaevich - the National writer of Kazakhstan, the director of Astana branch of the Kazakhstan writers Union ; Dobrovolsky Anatoly Valerevich – the assistant to the executive secretary of Astana department of a youth wing "Zhas Otan"; Aktanov Kambar Kinajatovich – the major, the chief of department of educational and socially-legal work of a regiment «Republican guards» took active participation in this action.

The action «One country – one book» was held by the Ministry of culture and information of RК under the offer of National Academic Library of RK and Library association of RK. The action has some aims: to raise prestige of reading in our country and to return to the book the reader, to carry away idea of reading young generation and to keep our original culture.

This year the story «Dashing time» by Muhtar Omarhanovich Auezov, as the book for reading, was selected by all country. The choice of this product has underlined once more the value of Muhtar Auezov and his creativity in a spiritual life of our people.
