Opening of the action "One country - one book" in the National academic library RK

On September 24 started the action “One country – one book” in Kazakhstan.

This day in the state libraries of Kazakhstan – in rural and city, children's and youthful, oblast and regional - are spent more than 100 actions. In the action are involved libraries and other systems and departments, including, school, high school.

In total will pass during the action more than 500 actions in libraries, clubs, schools, military parts, at universities, academies and other organizations.

Also there will be held 258 actions in the state Libraries:

On September 24 - 97,
On September 25 - 50,
On September 26 - 45,
On September 27 - 33,
On September 28 - 33.

On September 24, have gathered distinguished public and political figures, writers, teachers, students, schoolboys, pupils of Republican school “Zhas ulan” in Astana in the National academic library of RK.

On solemn ceremony of opening with greetings have acted Kyrykbaev A.O. – the chairman of Committee of culture of the Ministry of culture and information RK, Berdigalieva R. A - the general director of National academic library RK; Auezov M. M. – the culturologist, the director of fund M.O.Auezov, Tarazi А.U - the National writer of Kazakhstan, the director of Astana branch of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan, Shalahmetov G. M - the academician of the Russian Academy of the natural sciences, the distinguished public figure, the journalist, Esim G. – the academician, the deputy of the Senate of Parliament RK.

Addressing to all gathered, Kyrykbaev A.O. has noticed that the Action purpose – to raise prestige of reading in our country, to pay attention of readers to the classical literature which is always actual. Auezov M. M in the performance has underlined: Story “Kily zaman” is written with great skill. This book is about the historical truth. It involves the reader. “Kily zaman” is a personal precept of Muhtar Omarhanovich to the subsequent generations to love and protect the earth.

At opening ceremony has executed a fragment from M.O.Auezov's story “Lihaja godina (Dashing time)” the National actor of Kazakhstan, Professor Tilektes Meiramov. In a musical part of the program has acted the singer and composer Marat Omarov.

The writer, the Doctor of Philology, the professor, the director of the Centre of science "Library Otyrar" of ENU by name of L.N.Gumilyov Zhurtbai Tursyn Kudakeldievich has acted With the report “National idea of “Alash” and art understanding of story “Lihaja godina (the Dashing time)””.

On “the round table” have been considered the following themes:

1. M.O. Auezov.: «the Ways of centuries passed for one human life»;

2. The writer and the totalitarian power, influence of leaders of movement of Alash on outlook and M.O.Auezov's creativity;

3. Sociopolitical and economic problems of the colonized Kazakh society and objectively-historical regularity of revolt in 1916;

4. The historic features of story of M.O.Auezov “Lihaja godina (the Dashing time)”;

5. Auezov M. O – the writer, the thinker, the philosopher, scientist.

Quiz under M.Auezov's story “Lihaja godina (the Dashing time)”

The participants: pupils of senior classes of schools of Astana with state language training – secondary school № 56 with teacher Alma Erkinkyzy and secondary school № 59 with teacher Bekmuhanova Gulnar Rizabekyzy. The quiz purpose – revealing of knowledge of M.O.Auezov's story “Lihaja godina (the dashing time)”, attracting pupils of Astana to the book culture, reading and literacy advancement, and also abilities searching of the necessary information on hisher own, ability to analyze and creatively to comprehend the read literature.

Participants of the quiz not only actively answered on questions, but also told about what place in their life occupies reading. Also children from school № 59 dramatized a fragment from the story “Lihaja godina (Dashing time)” and recited “Book of Words” by Abai. By the way, this book became the ledger during the action «One country – one book» in 2007.

During the quiz pupils fromsecondary school № 59 have shown the best knowledge.

Following the results of the quiz certificates are handed over following pupils:

Secondary school №56 – Agybayeva Aidana, Kumarbekova Kalamkas, Kusaiynov Abai, Sadykov Salamat, Sabyrbayeva Akmonshak, Sanaeva Asel.

There was shown the movie “Shot on the Karash pass” for visitors and readers of library among whom pupils of Republic School “Zhas Ulan” in the “Kogildir room”.

There was organized the book sale of kazakhstani classics, including the works of great writer – M.O.Auezov in the hall.
