24^th of September – Dispute on a theme “Abai and present-day”

The purpose of the action is to consider in " Words of edification " many aspects of modern problems and to open the maintenance of the book from the point of view of cultural and educational value for present generation. Moderator - the professor of the Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumilyov, Doctor of Philology Bejbytova K.D offered some themes. These themes are - " moral-ethical problems in " Words of edification "," Abai about education and modern philosophy of education. Up-to-date approaches to education: preservation of national peculiarities and globalization”, “Abai about power and man in power. Modern view on the problem”. “Words” as writing”, “Abai about religion. Religious organizations in Kazakhstan, their role and significance in interconfessional problems”.

Students of the National Eurasian University, representatives of the youth congress, took part in the discussion.

Professors and teachers of the institutions of higher educations of Astana city – Medeuova K.A., the candidate of philosophical sciences, senior lecturer of the Kazakhstan-Russian university; Ishanova A.K., Doctor of Philology, the professor of journalism faculty of the Eurasian State University named after L.N.Gumilyov; Akhmetov Muhambedija Ahmet-tereyli, the professor of faculty of preventive medicine of the Kazakh state medical Academy; Ilyas Ryspekyli Kurmangaliyev, the senior teacher of the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute; Ainash Sailaubek kyzi the teacher of philosophy chair of the ENU named after Gumilev.

On September, 25th - " The Marathon of reading " will be held, in which known public figures and politicians of the country, poets, writers will take part.

Reader's marathon – is one of the most effective ways of promotion of the book chosen for mass reading. Its concept very precisely corresponds to the purposes and problems of the Action " One country - one book " - development of the program of promotion of reading, support of literacy and culture of reading, preservation of a spiritual heritage, careful attitude to the native language, and also moral and patriotic education of youth.

The marathon of reading is devoted to memories of great Abai, whose ideas were actual not only for his time, but also for us living in 21-st century. Participants of marathon as well as thousands of people these days, having taken in hands the book of Abai read one of "Words" and made comments - " why these ideas are close and clear for them ". The first, who read "Word" of Abai was director of Department of historical and cultural heritage of MKI – Shaimerden E.S. Then relay race of reading was picked up by Doctor of Philosophy – Aitaly A.A.; Senators of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Dzhalmagambetova S.Z., and *1170; Gharifulla Esim, Akylbaj S.B.; the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Republic of Kazakhstan - Mrs. Teresitia Capote Camatcho; the professor of faculty of preventive medicine of the Kazakh state medical Academy - Akhmetov Muhambedija Ahmet-tereyli; national actress of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an actress of the Kazakh is musical-drama theatre named after K.Kuanyshpayev – Aspetova G.; the Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, the journalist - Shalakhmetov G.M.; the main Imam of a mosque " Nur Astana "Kalizhan Bairbekyli; director of branch of bank “Centercredit” Murzabekov S.Zh. ; the representative of Orthodox church - the priest Father Dmitry; a member of Public association "Poles" – Zapolskaya A.

Results of a reader's marathon were summed up by Doctor of Philosophy Abdildin Zh.M. He has noted that ideas of Abai do not grow darker, and in the course of time gain in strength also power and also they are a reference point in a life for present generation.

On September, 26th the opening of the exhibition “Abai Kara sozder” took place.

On September, 26th for readers with limited physical opportunities, the conversation " Abai's Eternal words " took place. A meeting has opened general director of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Berdigaliyeva R.A. " These days of reading of the Book of Words of Abai not only has united thousands of people, but also has shown, that the book among moral values takes a special place, - has noted Roza Amangaliyevna in the performance, - therefore the problem of librarians - to support the high status of the book and book culture ".

Then the invalid of the 1 group on sight Baurzhan Arstanbekov read his poem " Bul Абай ". Then expert of a hall on work with readers with the limited physical opportunities Balgarskaya V.N. has made mini social questioning “haveyou heard about " Abai's Words of edification ", whether you read " Words of edification " and a quiz "Question-answer" on a life and creativity of the writer. Record of " the first Word " of Abai also has been sounded.

During a meeting there was a dispute: for whom " Words of edification " are intended, and at what age it is necessary to read them. One considered thatt to get into sense of this composition it is possible only at mature age (" after 40 years "), others - that it is necessary to read " Words of edification " already since the childhood (" the child will understand not everything, but what he will understand, it will be well acquired "). They have come to conclusion, that the book should become handbook for the person of any age.

In the end of the conversation all the participant had a huge desire to read " The Words of edification ". The requests that have been received: to print them according to Bryle, rewrite it in mp3 format; also it was offered to lead some more actions devoted to Abai and other writers.

It is necessary to note great activity of participants, especially youth that expressed their opinions about ideas of Abai. They have shown good knowledge of the biography and creativity of Abai. Speaking about relevancy of "Words", they have come to conclusion, that they will be those still very long.

On September, 27th - " a round table " on a theme " Evolution of steppe knowledge: from historology to a historiography ".

Representatives of the Eurasian State University named after. L.N.Gumilyov - professor Sadykov T.S.; doctor of Philosophical sciences, professor Krivoshchapova T.V. and the senior teacher of faculty of philosophy Kamarova R.I. have taken part in its work.

The purpose of action - to generate conception about unified Centralasian historical and cultural space in which the book of Abai " Words of edification " has been appeared.

On action with the report and electronic presentation " The Historical Book In the Central Asia XIII-XIX centuries ", the senior lecturer of faculty of Kazakhstan history of the Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumilyov – Kovalskaya S.I. has acted. In a material following themes - the characteristic of oral steppe knowledge, its features, carriers and ways of transfer of knowledge, the brief characteristic of written tradition and laws of creation of historical writings, structure of products, concept of the autograph, the characteristic of handwritings, covers; the brief characteristic of basic writings of XIII-XIX centuries, the brief characteristic of medieval Muslim centers of science, influence of east written tradition on creativity of Abai have been considered.

On a round table interesting messages on themes " M.Kashgari and an epoch of Divan "," J.Balasaguni and type of the ideal person ", "Khikmaty" of Hodzha Akhmet Jassavi " have been sounded. They were prepared by students of 4-th year students of the history-philological faculty of the ENU named after L.N.Gumilyov.

During " a round table " the exchange of opinions took place, professors and teachers have answered on questions of readers.

Summing up performances and discussions, Kovalskaya S.I. has noted, that the stylistics, genre and content part of Abai's book " Words of edification " are defined by the traditions which have been generated in Central asian historical and cultural space, during long historical period.
