Results of the PR-campaign of the action

In eternal words – essence, dignity and wisdom

The theme of reading, initiated on the international Congress of reading, was continued through the organization of the republican action «One country – one book» which passed in Kazakhstan from September, 24 to September, 30th of 2007. On the eve of the Action, in the central, regional and district newspapers of Kazakhstan, information, articles about the purposes and objectives of the project, about the main book of the Action – Abai's «edification Words» have been published. People of Kazakhstan with all heart accepted the Action. All of the articles and informations about the Action are published on sites of National academic library (NAB РК) and Library Association (BARK) – http://www.nabrk.kz, http://www.bark.kz/.

Thus, on the eve of the Action, in days of its work the big range of information distribution about the Action was ensured. In Kazakhstan mass-media more than 70 articles, on TV and radio created, including on regional there were 10 plots. On sites of NAB РК and BARK 60 information are placed.

From all materials about realization of the Action main idea is desire of Kazakhstan people to continue the Action in 2008. As one of forms of popularisation of book and reading, the Action «One country – one book» proved its viability and necessity. Ways of perfection of the Action are unlimited also realization methods are diverse. It is possible to choose the new book for reading by all country in 2008.
