Memorable evening consecrated to the 70 years of Bakkozha Mukai

In the 31st of January in the National academic library of the Republic of Kazakhstan  took place memorable evening in honor of the 70 years from the birth of writer, playwright, Laureate of the State Award of Bakkozha Mukai.

In the evening, were raised stories about the life and work of writer Bakkozha Mukai and his role in society.  He is author of the novels such as «The Lonely Foot», «Omirzaya» and «Rain», «The Life Channel», «Akku Sazi», «The Quiet Season», «The Next World», «Heavy Night», «Love», «Fairy Tales».  His works have been translated into several languages. Bakkozha Mukai was born on January 31, 1948 in the village Narynkol in Rayymbek district of Almaty region.  He was a member of the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO.  He was awarded several medals. 

To the event were invited well-known  poets, writers, creative and social figures of Kazakhstan.
